Who are you?

I'm Chris Meyer, a German-Australian writer, analyst and teacher. My background is in education, intelligence analysis, project management and languages. I can also draw on my experience in the military, martial arts and failing at things. I collect and connect ideas while attempting humour.

What is The Mind Collection?

The Mind Collection is my main creative and analytical outlet. Essentially, this is where I think publicly by writing timeless long-form essays on:

  • critical thinking, mental models and analytical techniques

  • decision-making, problem-solving, reasoning and debate

  • thought experiments, practical philosophy and storytelling.

Why subscribe?

You’ll never miss an update and won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.

If you want to support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

I’ll donate 5% of my yearly revenue to Save the Elephants, a charity that works to secure a future for elephants in East Africa.
